Flail Hammer LVP Technology conducted comprehensive tests and research on flail hammers over the past few years. We developed the LVP-HL09 hammer in 2009. The hammer is hardened to 50 Rockwell C and the chain to 46-47 Rockwell C. The bottom photo shows the hammer after a working period of 5 hours. The weight of the hammer is 1kg. This design in contrast with the conventional mushroom shape, allows for penetration for much longer hours. LVP-HL09
Advantages Drastically harder than standard forged hammers. Production time much shorter. Design of u-link dramatically minimise wear on the chain. More cost effective. Chain special hardness.
